NOTE: The Otis farm is visible in the background of this photograph. Today, the former farmland is the school grounds of the Jordan-Elbridge Middle School. Other landmarks visible in this photograph are the canal towpath in the foreground, the aquaduct over the Skaneateles Creek at right, and the historic "Lincoln Cannonball" giant elm tree at left, which was cut down in 1935. The grove of trees at the right behind the zig-zag wooden fence is a fruit orchard.
